At Paradise West, we went to great lengths to have not only a technologically superior recording facility, but to create a place so comfortable that you won’t want to leave.
From our carefully chosen North Scottsdale location, to our studio vibe, to our nearby studio “annex” facility, it doesn’t get much better than this. In fact, when it comes to
artist comforts, we can safely say that we have the best in Arizona.
Main Studio Facility. Our main studio facility is a reflection of the resort atmosphere
for which Scottsdale is known. We’ve loaded the facility with soft leather couches and chairs, and offer various relaxing areas to hang during sessions. We offer two
televisions with DVD players, a Sony Playstation II rig, free broadband Wi-Fi internet access, free long distance phones, a kitchenette and business services like a fax
machine, copier and the like. And then there’s what’s just outside our front door...
Our Neighborhood. We located our studio in an upscale retail center for the various
amenities and conveniences it provides our clients. Just outside our front door and within our center are a Mexican restaurant, a Thai restaurant, an Italian restaurant, a
Greek informal restaurant, a neighborhood karaoke bar and a convenience store. There are also various service businesses in the center including a tanning salon, nail
salon, dry cleaners and more. Also within short walking distance (1-2 blocks away) are larger retail centers complete with restaurants, coffee shops, a large gym, salons,
fast food, grocery stores, banks, pharmacies, video rentals, and more. And for those last minute music emergencies, a Guitar Center is about ten minutes away.
Our Studio Annex. For selected extended sessions, artists are invited to use our
4000 sq. ft. studio annex facility, even including overnight accommodations if needed. Just six blocks from our main studio facility in the mountain foothills, this semi-custom
home away from home offers a much needed and comfortable reprieve from the rigors of extended recording sessions. There, 365 days a year, you can enjoy a
morning cup of coffee on our patio at the base of the majestic McDowell Mountains, an afternoon lounging by the pool or taking a hike into the mountains, or an evening
beverage watching the Arizona sunset and Phoenix city lights from our view deck. Our studio is unique in the area in offering this degree of artist comfort, all available to you
and your band during your tracking sessions:

Location. Our studio is located in the foothills of North Scottsdale’s McDowell
Mountains, conveniently accessed from the Loop 101, Shea Boulevard exit. Our location is in close proximity to restaurants, nightlife, shopping, resorts, golf, hiking

Climate. We’ve lived here so long, we sometimes forget that we live in paradise.
Scottsdale is well-known as an escape from the long cold winters, wet springs and humid summers in other parts of the country. The climate here is simply perfect. Even
